About This Blog

When I was considering community supported agriculture, I heard a lot about how glorious it is to buy food from your local farmer, how wonderful it is for your community, etc., but I had a very hard time finding people who had actually tried it. What I really wanted to know was this: Can I do this as a working mother? Is it possible to consume that much produce before it goes fickle in the fridge? Does it make financial sense? And mostly, what on earth to do with all those veggies week after week after week? I never found answers to these questions, so I decided to blog about my family's experience. We are in for a challenge, but are invigorated to be out of our comfort zone, trying new foods and committed to the work involved. I can't promise amazing recipes or beautiful photos, but I will certainly try to answer the question: is CSA worth the effort?
